Chicken FINGERS

Well,  this bento is spooky, creepy, and a little on the gross side.....proceed with caution.  A little background about this lunch.  I have been wanting to try a chicken nugget recipe that I ran across online but, of course,  had not gotten around to doing.  I was at Joann's fabric and craft store checking out the sale Halloween bentoish items and ran across a witch fingers cookie pan.  Suddenly, I had a brain storm!  I will make the chicken nugget recipe in this witch finger pan and magically I will have chicken "fingers".   Worked like a charm.

Left compartment:  Homemade chicken fingers (made with a recipe found here) and a cheese stick thumb (I decided a thumb was needed).

Right top:  Clementine.

Right Bottom:  Snow peas,  yellow bell pepper sticks, and homemade cheese crackers in a spooky cat shape.  (cheese cracker recipe)

  1. It's so creepy I can barely look at the fingers which means that you executed it perfectly!! I'm sure all the kids are going to want to share your daughter's lunch box today.
