Happy Thanksgiving!

One last Thanksgiving bento.  I made a quick lunch this morning and added a few easy Thanksgiving touches to it.  Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours!

In this bento:  Cinnamon raisin bread sandwich with cinnamon raisin peanut butter spread in the middle, baby carrots, ranch dressing, red grapes, and yellow grape tomatoes.

This lunch is packed in our Bentgo Kids.   All the "Thanksgiving" touches are done with cupcake pick and ring toppers making this lunch super simple to throw together this morning.

Turkey Stamped Sandwich

Thanksgiving is just around the corner.  I'm sure most of you have done some Thanksgiving food shopping by now.  I, however, am still choosing to ignore the fact that it is almost here.  I will be one of "those people" shopping with the crowds on Wednesday.  Anyway, here's a super easy Thanksgiving themed lunch.  Nothing like a PB&J turkey sandwich.

In this lunch:  apples slices, Mandarin orange segments, Annie's farm cookies, and a turkey PB&J sandwich.

The sandwich was cut and stamped with a vintage turkey cookie cutter.  The little pilgrim hunter pick is from the Mothergoose Collectibles shop on eBay.  This lunch is packed up in our cute Peanuts nesting boxes, you can see the lids in this post.  I'm not sure if I will get another Thanksgiving themed bento done so just in case.....  Happy Thanksgiving!!

Pilgrim Hat Sandwich

Thanksgiving is sneaking up on me this year.  I had a little bit of extra time this morning to prepare this cute little Pilgrim hat lunch since school was on a two hour delay this morning.

In this PlanetBox:  red grapes, orange wedges, ranch dressing in the small green container, PB&J pilgrim hat (details below), baby carrots, and a fig cookie cut into a turkey shape.

The Pilgrim hat is cut out of pumpernickel break with a white bread band that is attached to the top pumpernickel bread with peanut butter.  The buckle is cut out of yellow cheese.

Steamed Pork Bun Lunches

I've been slacking in the grocery shopping duty lately.  Monday morning, I opened the refrigerator to pack lunches and the refrigerator was bare.  No lunch meat, no eggs, and no bread on the counter either.  I frantically turned to the freezer and thankfully found a pack of Trader Joe's pork buns.  Whew!  Lunch can happen after all!  The first thing that came to my mind after seeing the pork buns was Kung Fu Panda, so that's exactly what I packed for my son with a little help from a set of cupcake rings.

In this bento:  cheese stick, red grapes, baby carrots, ranch dressing, steamed pork bun, and grape tomatoes.

A couple months ago I ran across this super cute owl bento box when I was surfing the Internet for bento goodies and somehow it jumped into my virtual shopping cart.  Monday, I used it to pack my daughter's lunch in.

In this bento:  red grapes, crinkle cut cucumber slices, and steamed pork bun x 2.

Cow Bento

A little preschool cow bento.  Moo!

I ran across a set of Tovolo ice cream sandwich molds at Ross and I snapped them up.  My son loves cows and so I chose to use the cow mold first.  The molds can easily double as cookie cutters.

In this bento:  cow shaped ham & cheese sandwich, Annie's farm cookies, blueberries, grape tomatoes, and sweet yellow pepper.
