Easter Bunny

Continuing with the Easter theme, today we have cute little Easter bunny and Easter egg shaped sandwiches for lunch!

In this bento:  Red & yellow pepper rings, Strawberry halves, red grapes, and Bunny and Easter egg sandwiches - ham & cheddar cheese on whole wheat bread.

The Easter bunny cookie cutter was bought at Walmart last year (available on eBay).  The Easter egg cookie cutter is  from Williams Sonoma - this year's version is slightly different than my version from last year.

Easter-y Pot Pie Bento

Easter is coming up this Sunday.  Time for some Easter-y themed bentos.  Today I tried out a new recipe for chicken pot pies and made a few extra for lunchboxes this week.  I hope my kids enjoy them.

In this bento:  Mini chicken pot pie, baby carrots, strawberries, and pineapple chunks.

The bunny and egg picks are from an Easter cupcake kit bought at Dollar Tree last year.

Robot Sandwich

I received the new CuteZcute Robo bread cutter a few weeks ago.  It is the newest tool from the CuteZcute line.  I used it to make a quick little robot sandwich today.  The set also come with the little robot pick!

In this bento:  Robot sandwich - ham & Swiss cheese on wheat bread, grape tomatoes, sugar snap peas, strawberry slices, red grapes, cara cara orange slices.

Spring Kabobs

Friday was the first day of Spring and somehow I missed it.  Today we are celebrating Spring's arrival with Spring themed bentos.  Welcome Spring!

My daughter's bento ~

In this bento:  Owl shaped cheese crackers, red grapes, and pineapple & corned beef kabobs.

My son's bento ~

In this bento:  yellow pepper rings, grape tomatoes, red grapes, Babybel cheese, and pineapple & corned beef kabob.

Dino Nuggets Bento

Roar!!!  Dino nuggets for lunch.  Yum!

Happy St. Patrick's Day

Happy St. Patrick's Day!  Don't forget to wear green today.  For added luck you should eat something green today as well!

In this bento:  Peanut butter & jelly shamrock shaped sandwiches, pear chunks, broccoli, ranch dressing in the rainbow container, a dolma (cut in half), and lucky charms cereal in the center compartment.
