Snowflake Bento & Book Giveaway

A snowflake bento was in order since I am hosting a winter lunch ideas book giveaway and of course I HAD to pack it in my book bento box ;-)


In this lunch:  Orange slices, cucumber snowflakes, edamame, sugar snowflakes, peanut butter and cracker sandwiches, and marshmallows.

Sherrie Le Masurier from Pinewood Communications was kind enough to offer one of my lucky readers a paperback copy of each of the Winter lunch ideas books:  Lunches for Kids Winter Ideas & Kids Lunches Winter Recipes for Kids.  These books have lots of fun and cute lunch ideas for cold winter days.  Hey, I might even have a few lunches published in these books!

  4. I like packing something warm and savory in winter, current fave is beans/rice/cheese in thermos with ww tortilla on the side.

  12. During the winter my son loves to get homemade chili/soup in a thermos, during the winter... he loves the chili as it is...and with his ne thermos he thinks it's SO COOL he can bring it to school!
