Happy Groundhog Day! I made a little something fun for my kiddos to celebrate Groundhog Day.
Top Row: Male groundhog made of: English muffin, egg, and cheese. He is decorated with candy eyes, angel hair pasta, egg teeth, and a black olive nose. Next, there is a clementine orange and then syrup.
Bottom Row: Cucumbers, blueberries (decorated with a food pick, it is really a squirrel but today we will pretend he is a groundhog), female groundhog. The female groundhog is pumpkin pancake decorated with candy eyes, blueberry nose, angel hair pasta, and tortilla teeth. Underneath her head are three more round pumpkin pancakes.
*All the decorations are secured with a dab of syrup.

As I was making this muffin tin meal, it reminded me of the game whack a mole, except these are groundhogs. Anyway, this is how I am tying my lunch into the Muffin Tin Monday game theme :-)

ReplyDeleteI haaaaaate Whack-a-Mole. We have the home version. "Heeeeeeere moley moley moley! For a one-player game, hit a red mole. For a two-player game, hit a green mole!" in an annoying high pitched voice. AAAAAAAAUGH!
ReplyDeleteThose are amazingly cute and creative groundhogs though!
Too cute for words! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks!
