Christmas Lights - A Copycat Bento

This weeks challenge at Bento Blog Network is to do a copycat bento.  I decided to take this opportunity to copy my friend Debby's (from iPackLunch) bento called Lights A Glow.

Top:  Clementine wedges, cherry tomatoes, cucumbers.

Bottom:  Peanut butter fairy bread sandwich.  There are orange turtle and blue shark sprinkles filling the cutouts.  Marshmallow bases with green licorice wire.  (I looked and looked for the black peel apart licorice but could not find it.  I did end up finding rainbow colored shoe string licorice.)  In the original bento she used a square crinkle cookie cuter.  I tried to duplicate this by using my crinkle cutter knife, this did not work well.

Side:  Trader Joe's apple sticks and TJ's edamame crackers.

*I did not have a mini Christmas light cookie cutter on hand and I just used a Christmas bulb ring to punch through the bread.

Another Meatless Monday

What I used to make this bento.

LunchBots Trio.  Amazon.  $$$$

Christmas light cupcake rings.  A Cake Shop.  $

Crinkle cutter.  Pampered Chef.  $$$

Paring knife.

  3. So cute! I am flattered you chose my lunch to copy! I got the licorice at The Fresh Market. We use minimal artificals just as a personal choice and not because of any allergies or intolerance but sometimes I break the rules.
