Leftovers Linky Party Returns

Welcome back to leftovers on Fridays.  Today I am bringing back the linky party and will continue with it every Friday.  If you have a blog please feel free to link up any posts that you have done using leftovers (it does not have to be bento).

Today's bento is continuing with the letter P theme.  My daughters preschool lessons this week were themed "P is for pet"  and the animal shelter brought a couple of dogs to preschool for the kids to pet.
Therefore, we have a doggy bento today.

Top box:  Greek avgolemono soup (lemon chicken soup) leftover from dinner.  The soup was made with leftover turkey instead of the normal chicken.  My family loves this soup and the kids will eat it cold or hot!  The dog is made with toasted roman meal bread (the scrap piece from the  bread in the bottom box)

Bottom box: Sandwich with roman meal bread and leftover honey ham.  The doggy insert is cut from a scrap piece of pumpernickel bread from yesterday's "P" lunch.  Tucked under the sandwich is clementine wedges, yellow sunburst tomatoes, and black olives.

What I used to make this bento.

Now, on to the linky party.  There is only one established rule.  The rule is that your post must use leftovers.  Please grab my leftovers on Fridays button and help spread the leftovers love.

  2. @Christine
Here is the recipe: 2 cans cream of chicken, 1 can chicken broth, 1-2 chicken breasts, rice (2-3 cups), and lemon juice (to your taste). For the lemon juice you need more than you would think and we like a lot!
