Apparently Halloween has trumped the letters of the alphabet this week at preschool.  No letter bento this week.  However, I do have some leftovers to use.  It took me a while to come up with a fun bento theme featuring a chicken leg.....but I finally did!

Left compartment:  Leftover chicken drumstick.  (I felt like I needed a prop to pull this theme off, so I just used some construction paper and a marker to mimic Fred's clothes)

Top right:  Leftover white rice with yellow sweet pepper rings on top.

Bottom right:  Wilma Flintstone- made with cucumber, raisins, clementine, and cherry tomatoes (pearl necklace).  The rest of the clementine is tucked under the olives and cherry tomatoes.

What I used to make this.

  1. Amazing what you can do with food! She really does look like Willlmmmmaaa! ;)
Very creative using the construction paper under the chicken leg and once again "jazzing" up the top of the Easy Lunch Box lid with a dry erase pen.
I will be copying your technique once I get my ELB set that I just ordered!
