The Missing Mondays

This is another "catch up" blog.  I am posting the three Monday bentos from this summer's preschool day camp. 

Monday #1:  My first bento creation!



Top Box:  ham dogs, cheese bears, ham giraffes, and crackers. (pretty much a rip off of the old lunchables at the grocery store, but cuter!)

Bottom Box:  baby carrots, olives, and mushrooms.

Side Dish:  strawberries, whip cream with red sugar heart on top.

What I used to make this.



Blue Tiffin box.  Cost Plus World Market. $$$

Frog dish.  Cost Plus World Market. $$

Pink and green silicone cups.  Cost Plus World Market. $

Monday #2:



Top Box:  yellow and red bell peppers match sticks

Bottom Box:  wiener dog and train shaped ham, cheese, and tortilla sandwiches, cup of wheat goldfish.

Side dish:  watermelon and green grapes.

What I used to make this.


Green Tiffin box.  Cost Plus World Market. $$$

Butterfly dish.  Cost Plus World Market. $$

Green and pink silicone cups.  Cost Plus World Market. $

Train and wiener dog cookie cutters.  Sur La Table. $


Monday #3:  A bunch of bunnies!



Top Box:  Bunny sandwiches with banana and peanut butter on wheat with raisin accents,  rabbit hard boiled egg with salami accents on a bed of yellow bell pepper, rice flower with carrot flower on top, rabbit cup with strawberries, and flower sandwich with banana and almond cocoa butter on wheat with flower carrot on top.  Carrot sticks used to fill the empty spaces.

Bunny cup:  Peach jello.

Bottom Box:  Bunny shaped salami, raspberries, rice bunny with salami accents, and yellow pepper match sticks.

(i left it open so you can see that this one comes with removable compartments.)
